Amazing Elk Jerky

Just received my order of Elk Jerky and it's incredible! The flavor is so rich and it's super tender, not tough at all like some other brands I've tried. I was looking for a good high protein snack and this absolutely nails it. Shipping was quick too, got here in just a few days. Seriously, if you like jerky, you have to try this. I'm already planning my next order for more!

Solid variety pack, minor issue

I bought one of their Jerky Sampler Packs because I wanted to try a bunch of different kinds. Ordering was straightforward, the site was responsive on my phone. Delivery took 6 days to get to my place in Seattle, which is okay but not super fast. The jerky itself was really good, especially the Venison and Peppered Beef. I had an issue with one of the bags in the sampler, it felt a little tougher than the others, but the rest were perfect. Customer service replied within a day about it, which was helpful. Overall, a good experience and I found some new favorites.

Good jerky, quick shipping

I grabbed a few bags of the Sweet and Spicy Beef Jerky and some Original Beef Smokies last week. The website was pretty easy to use, no fuss there. Got my order in like, 4 days which was nice because I was craving them. Everything tasted fresh and they hit the spot, exactly what I was hoping for. Definitely gonna order again when I run out.

Hey guys, thinking of ordering some jerky for a road trip. How long does shipping usually take to, like, California?

N Nick B. 2 months ago

I'm in LA and it usually gets to me in about 4-5 days. Pretty quick for standard shipping.

R Renee 2 months ago

Yeah, I ordered last month to NorCal, it was like 3-4 business days. Not bad at all.

What's the deal with their 'Smokies' compared to regular jerky? Are they super different?

N Neil 2 months ago

Smokies are more like a sausage stick, softer and more finely ground meat. Jerky is the traditional dried strips. Both are good though!

M Mia Ito 2 months ago

Think of Smokies as a mini slim jim but way better quality and flavor. Jerky is just that, dried meat strips. Depends on what texture you're in the mood for.

Is Tommy's Jerky better than Jack Link's? I usually just grab Jack Link's at the gas station but looking for something higher quality.

S Sarah Torres 2 months ago

Oh man, a million times better! It's handcrafted, less processed, and the flavors are way more intense. Jack Link's tastes like cardboard after having Tommy's.

P Phil Okafor 2 months ago

Totally different league. Tommy's is premium stuff, you can actually taste the meat and spices. Jack Link's is just okay for a quick fix.

Has anyone tried the exotic jerky? Kinda curious about the alligator or kangaroo but don't want to waste money if it's weird.

S Steve Brooks 2 months ago

The kangaroo is surprisingly good! A bit gamey but in a nice way, very lean.

C Chris 2 months ago

Alligator is a bit chewy, but not bad. More like a novelty, I stick with the buffalo or venison for my exotic fix.

Anyone know if you can return jerky if you opened it but didn't like the flavor? Or is it only for unopened stuff?

K Kevin 3 months ago

Pretty sure they only take back unopened bags for hygiene reasons. That's usually how it works with food.

R Rachel Marsh 3 months ago

Nah, I think once it's open, it's yours. I've only ever returned an unopened order before.

I saw something about a military discount. Is that a real thing or am I just imagining it?

R Rachel 3 months ago

It's real! I got it on my last order. Just make sure to look for the verification step during checkout, I think it's through ID.me or something similar.

T Todd W. 3 months ago

Yeah, they offer one. My buddy uses it all the time.

Are their jerky products actually keto friendly? Trying to stay on track but really want some good jerky.

P Priya C. 2 months ago

Yep! A lot of their stuff is. Just check the product pages, they usually list the carb counts clearly.

N Neil Romero 2 months ago

I've been using their regular beef jerky and some of the smokies for my keto diet for months now, no issues. High protein is a plus too.
